So the Cybertruck bed bins are sold out at $250 a set of 3+ shipping… Home Depot has the Husky 20 gallon professional grade storage bins that are watertight and have a folding hinge for $35 each. Why is nobody talking about this?

As much as I love the Tesla product, the price is a little high… my friend, Charlie Hon, told me about these at Home Depot, and they are the perfect fit. They are waterproof and dust proof and are really nice. They are perfect night, see bed divider for reference, fit three wide on the short side and two wide on the long side. They are slightly smaller than the Tesla ones which means they’ll be easier to drag stuff around.

I only wish they had a divider system inside to make putting all the camping stuff separate. Maybe I’ll have to make something…

Let’s see how fast Home Depot sell out of these now!

Admin Update -- added @RN1127's comparison of the Husky Container Bins vs. Tesla Vault Cargo Bins:

Here are some pics to compare Husky box and Tesla box. Husky box is slightly shorter, you can almost put 4 husky in the space of three Tesla ones. I have not decided which one to keep yet.

Amazing what a cyber logo slapped on something can do to a price haha

Then again, I am going to possibly buy a FS Cybertruck vs find a used 20k truck to run into the ground so… maybe I am the sucker haha

Received the Tesla bins last week and unfortunately, they failed to impress. The only benefit is the grooves at the bottom matches the bed of the truck so they don’t slide sideways. But they still slide back and forth without the vault divider. The plastic quality is inferior and the closing latches have plastic hinges that break when removed and replaced too many times. The lids are thin and flexible, overloading it would permanently disfigure the lid causing the hinges to be loose and not close tightly. A bit disappointed after loving the vault divider and the ramp. Hopefully, Tesla will improve upon the quality in future iterations.

Sweet? How many does it fit from top of bed to end of bed? In the pic it looks like 4 horizontally or 3 vertically?

FA worth every penny to have now vs 3 years from now…
I'm a second day reservation and waiting on FS VIN. If I back out I am not going to have to wait 3 years for non-FS. I bet I would have it by 4Q24 or 1Q25.

I was a first day, first 10 minute RN# and the various websites, and my math came to the same conclusion; if non-FS, then rough guess might be Q4 or 2025 Q1. So yeah, probably not three years, but that might have been just an off-the-cuff comment by that poster, not a claim. Day 3 might be a bit longer than Q4 this year, but I’m just guessing—best of luck!

Do you have any issues getting the divider to lock into place.Mine never fit properly in the back section. Tesla recently replaced it, and it also does not fit.
The first one I received had that pin with the flat portion on it.
Hoping that they would send me the revised one shown on their website that has a full circle for the pin.
Which one do you have? Is it fitting properly or does it have to almost be forced into place?
both of the units that I have received…
