Regarding range. The Cybertruck falls into the 3/4 and 1-ton pickup territory and slips through the EPA loophole. No EPA testing is required for retail sales.

Tesla engineers know full well that Cybertruck battery range was going to suck, especially towing and off-road.

This was news to me about the truck being outside of the EPA regs as far as numbers go, seems that because it is a certain size and has a bed size over a certain measurement it does not need to be tested by the EPA, which is unusual considering it can hold up to 5 passengers.
