My ears are freaky picky. I rebuild speakers and design home theaters as a hobby from time to time. I went to a college with a conservatory of music because I am so passionate about sound and music. So while I am not a professional sound engineer by any means, my ears seem to hear a lot other's ears don't, which is both a blessing and a curse. One of my first mods for the CB is going to be sealed rear subs with an amp rather than ported without because in general ported subs sound like crap to me (with rare exceptions). So far there is one company bringing such a setup to market of which I am aware.

I am glad that your experience has been positive with the bins relative to bass performance . I think I'll still skip blocking the subs.

Cheers
I think you have a misconception of how sound works. Obviously your mind was made up prior to your first comment and my explanation as well as others aren't helping. Hope you find what you're looking for, as the sound will never change that dramatically. No hard feelings.

My understanding of physics is sound, pun intended.

Reasonable people can agree to have different opinions on things without having to question the other person’s fund of knowledge or ability to comprehend something. I comprehend. I just don’t agree. Nothing i have said violates the laws of physics and how something sounds to one person or another is incredibly subjective. I don’t doubt that you cannot hear a difference, or that low frequency waves are less suspectible to being disrupted or refracted by passing through or knocking into a given substance than high frequency waves. I’m just saying based on my own experience moving subwoofers around rooms in home theaters and in automobiles i believe it is possible for some people to perceive a change in sound that sometimes others cannot. Just because the frequency is lower doesn’t mean by definition that the change from placing something in front of the speaker is imperceptible.

An additional concern with placing the cargo bins directly in front of the subs is the potential for the contents to rattle more due to their proximity to the subs depending on what you have in the bins, which is another bag of worms entirely that could also negatively change the experience of listening to the subs. This is probably not worth discussing at this point.

But like i said, happy listening. YMMV. I won’t be questioning the capacity of your ears. Probably best not to question others’ education when you don’t have any significant data to back up your assumption when they just so happen to disagree with you.

Cheers

The problem with underseat storage, is this takes away all the extra loading floor space with the seats flipped up. Where do you put the tray of junk when you need to flip the seats up for the floor space?
Thank you so much for your comment! ?

① First off, our product is super easy to install and remove. If you don’t need it, you can simply take it out and store it in the vault.

② We've included 2 removable small boxs, which is perfect for organizing both large and small items, making it a great option for keeping everything neat and tidy.

I hope this helps! ?

I'm holding out for a storage solution that integrated drawers. All the current solutions require to flip the seats up to access them, which is just a no go for any family with car seats installed.
Thank you so much for your comment! Are you thinking of pulling it out to use? That way, it won't interfere with your child seat.

To be honest I’d order the overpriced one from Tesla before ordering this tiny bit less overpriced one. It does feel like getting kinda after market screwed. Make it $100-$150 and you got yourself a deal. My 2 cents.

And I just received the under seat storage from Tesla and want to point out that it no longer comes with the 2 small bins. Not a big deal but at first I thought I was missing them until I looked at the website again. YouTubers have shown them in the past. FYI
Thank you so much for your comment! Ours comes with two removable boxes that can be easily detached.

Yep....I am in the same situation with getting the original Tesla version...then realizing it did not have the dividers. Really waiting for someone to start offering them as a separate item.

The issue i would potentially have with every underseat storage solution I have seen for the cybertruck (including Tesla’s) is that they all seem to block the subwoofers with no channel to redirect the sound. Correct me if I am wrong here because I don’t have my CB yet and haven’t seen any of these installed to check on it.

While subwoofer frequencies are far less directional than tweeter or midrange frequencies so this matters less, if you are anal about sound quality it can still matter.

I’m sure people will think I’m nuts on this but I would want an undersat storage that doesn’t muffle my subs.

Does this option account for that? Is it a non-issue because they aren’t blocked?

FWIW.

Cheers
Thank you so much for your comment! I've confirmed with our R&D team, and this product won't interfere with the subwoofer issue you mentioned. ??

I have a Cybertruck since January and yes, I have the Tesla under seat bin. I am actually in the high end audio business since 1980, a well respected expert. In theory and in practice, this bin, any bin, will not effect the performance of the subwoofer. You may stop your concerns.
Thank you so much for your comment, and I really appreciate your expertise! You're absolutely right—there's no blockage, and no issues with the subwoofer either. I'm truly impressed by your knowledge! ??
