Just finished installing the wind defector from @Mars Adventure Gear to my rack. Going to head out and see if I notice any differences. Prior to the deflector, I only noticed moderate wind noise, primarily on the freeway going 60mph+. I did have the front crossbar on the first most slot which they recommend moving back. Also important to note, I have a large 270 degree awning on one side of the truck and a show enclosure hanging on the other. Looking forward to the last major piece of my setup, the tent!

I installed mine over the weekend. I have the crossbar the other way up on my install so that the center bolt has something to attach to.

One note: I couldn't find install instructions in @Mars Adventure Gear's list of documents. I wasn't sure what to do with the lock washers that came in the kit and ended up leaving them off for now. Trying to maneuver them by hand between the nut and bolt while managing the track alignment was too much. Did you get that to work?

Same.

Same. And no video to go with QR code. They should fix.

I just put them up top.

Beyond that:

1. I noticed a dramatic decrease in wind noise.

2. The weatherstripping was a bitch to get on. It actually took me more time and created more frustration than any other part of the install (not counting having to detach and reinstall my RTT).

Thanks for the photo. I just finished installing the full system and was disappointed that Mars doesn't mention how to install this anywhere
