The Ford active assist i believe is a beefed up collision avoidance system but I havenāt had the time to research to it yet. There is something like a first gen and a 2.0 I think. I ran across it briefly when looking at fords a couple months ago.
Nah, they will compare with the vision only incidents and when they realize crashes are now up by 10x Tesla will hastily welcome back the wonderful technology of radar. Or not.?
Without spending millions on an investigation, I can tell you in 99.99% (if not 100%) of these crashes the driver is at fault. The feds should be investigating the drivers for negligence, not investigating Tesla. If I were to stab my neighbor with a Ginsu knife who would be investigated? Me or...
Typically a quarter mile in 9 second range requires 4 point cage and a mph over 150 a chute. Iām going feom memory but thatās pretty close. Some mom and pop tracks wonāt enforce but most tracks especially ones that host NHRA etc will. Kill switches required on rear bumper too but I dunno how...
It seems your best bet is to use your very particular set of skills to build an EV prerunner chassis thingy from scratch. You can probably design a new chemistry of battery that would be feather weight and more energy dense than the aging tech available in the Teslas right now. Iām not convinced...
I just wouldnāt be able to use it. I think it would lose a lot of appeal for others too.
lol nope. I was planning on starting a gofundme page so other people would buy it for me. I thought about getting a job but much easier on me if I can get others to chip in and buy it for me.
With a 40k cap hardly anyone, rich or poor, would be able to take advantage of the incentive on a CT. Only the 2WD short range model would be applicable and very few would buy. I would have no use for it and would in turn buy an ice if I was unable to spend more. Thatās goes along with previous post
Thats right. Most of the āsoccer momsā and such that feel they need to drive a new Suburban, Cadillac, or whatever would be much more likely to switch to a Model Y or model X than a Leaf. That plan just wonāt work. Itās gonna get changed.
They shouldnāt care who it is that buys them as long as they are bought. Even if only wealthy people bought them they would still end up in he hands of less wealthy people in a couple years when Richie Rich decides he needs the new Cybertruck 2.0 and sells his first CT to his gardener for much...
