So if I am at 149,999 miles and the battery is at 70.01% efficiency, then I can run this test a few times to drop under 70%, and therefore get a new battery under warranty? That sounds like a good reason to keep track of this. )))
I have some experience with FSD in the snow. [Deep snow, light snow, ice, high elevation, curves, and steep mountain roads]. Normally, I would say no to any computer intervention in these conditions, for a lot of reasons. HOWEVER, I really enjoyed the FSD in the snow (and ice); the traction...
16 miles a day solar charging could be a real advantage, if you park for several days, as I typically do. This amount of solar range extension probably makes remote field work feasible. While I like Cybergirl's measurements that indicate 50 miles range from a tank of propane, that is the same as...
Just remember.... the wheel covers are two separate pieces.
1. Separate the two rings before you start the install.
2. The locking gizmos go BETWEEN the spokes, not over them.
(Do it right to prevent scratches.)
FSD 13.2.6 has a new and good feel, largely because of the "almost human" feel to acceleration while passing, better lane control, and better pathway on curves. Complex highway lane changes were done without my stress rising, and highway exits were negotiated in quite a reasonable manner. There...
Thank you for the facts; 5 hours for 5 kWh looks like 3 miles range per hour of charging. Not nice when carrying gas and listening to a generator. Yes, it will have to be a 240v gen-set.
Not sure there is a solar solution yet either. Maybe cross my fingers that Tesla makes a new dc solar gizmo...
My key card was NOT working. Now it IS working. I am on version 2024.45.25.15, which uploaded about a week ago. This started working today, but has not been tested since about 2 or 3 days ago. I have 4 key cards, and I tested each one and confirmed that none did work, and now all do work. The...
Each of my keys are now working. The reader is about 3 inches above the light. Must have been during the last 2 days that it started again. No clue what the problem was, but fixed is fixed.
The entire Cybertruck fleet is one phone-hack away from being completely grounded? Because the manufacturer can not provide a working key? Wait until the WSJ hears about this. They love to publish anti-Tesla articles.
I also confirm that Key Cards will not open the Cybertruck. OMG! What a vulnerability. A phone is an unreliable device and can not be counted on in remote locations. I am grounded until this is fixed.
Well, maybe not that bad. I can just leave my vehicle unlocked, and that does not bother me...
My next experiment will be to enhance some holes slightly, plug some holes at the top, and use a rainX type product for 1ft^2 near the front camera. The purpose of this is to improve driver visibility, so I can drive...))) The war-of-the-wiper with the front camera is beyond my control, but...
You describe my situation perfectly. FSD needs to address two main issues:
1) Stay in the lane (center!)
2) Better velocity control (follow human commands).
I am confident it will improve. My model 3 performs in an excellent manner.
(Below - drifting into oncoming traffic.)
Maybe not understanding your response, and it is not my video. Based on the way that FSD drives for me, I have no reason to doubt this behavior. I take it as fair warning to be ultra cautious when pedestrians are near.
Solar shower; small ones work much better - lighter, easier to support. Half gallon is plenty for a shower, including the hair, so a one gallon solar shower size is ideal. Heat water with an induction stove (3 cups), and you are good to go. You have the option to solar heat the water, but this...
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It does appear that the car veered directly at the pedestrian, as you stated. It is one thing for FSD to not foresee a collision with a pedestrian, but it is entirely another to be targeting them.
Works in the rain, since the windshield juice is unnecessary.
Does not work in dirty snow and slush conditions because the fluid is too weak.
FSD action is annoying, since the camera and driver points of view are different. SQUEAK SQUEAL SQUEAK.
