The center console is one of the worst things about the truck. Whoever thought that top tray setup was cool should be bitch slapped!

Open the console (already an odd reach), the top tray has fallen down into the lower storage area....now dig it out (trying to keep all the stuff on the top tray). Anyway...horrible design! Never underestimate Tesla's ability to design something amazing then super glue some dumbass idea onto it.

My v1 stopped charging on passenger retractable usb-c and intermittent fast charges on drivers side which sees significantly more use.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS!!! That top tray is so cheap and never stays put. I have given up putting stuff on it as it keeps falling down.

i had version 1 of this and the stars/animation suckered me in, so i got rid of the version 1 and got this v2. its not as cheesy as i thought! you can select different color styles or turn it off entirely. the functionality of it is the cat's pajamas!! looks factory and is out of the way.

there is a plug cover you put on the AC port to keep it free from debris, liquid, etc., when not in use.

now, go back to 1983 -- you playing Journey in the background totally goes with the discoteque lights on the console thingy...

What are you guys using the AC port for?

I've used the one inside the center console to charge my laptop a few times, but usually the USB-C port is enough to keep it alive for as long as I'm using it in my truck.

I use this with an apple brick to charge my phone. I don’t use the trucks usb ports anymore. Had a long cable rated for 240 wats get super hot and melted down one of my ports, now I just use bricks in the ac ports.
