I understand your issue with a 3 hour drive to an SC. Too bad Mobile Service couldn’t handle your service requirements without the hassle of driving 3 hours.

I’ve had my CT for almost 2 years and 35k miles. I can’t imagine owning another vehicle. I use the bed all the time and the FSD is now a must for my long trips.

Best of luck.

I couldn’t fathom going back to a vehicle with no SbW or FSD, but best of luck to you.
Yeah feel the same way and also can’t go back to a smaller vehicle and because of stainless steel, parking anywhere.

Man I am sorry to hear that. Like u, i had read about all the problems and was worried. I bought an early 2025 build and had a couple small problems early on but nothing since and certainly no problems with road/wind/HVAC or engine noise. I am so glad i haven't had any real problems, It would break my heart to have to get rid of my CT- easily my favorite vehicle of all time. I don't think your comments regarding the lack of luxury are controversial - I almost went the Range Rover because of that fact but in the end, everything is else is just a car and they do car things albeit in luxury. The CT is a totally different experience and I am so glad mine isnt a POS

They only know how to work like a start-up - make a barely functional prototype and then ship a proof-of-concept alpha to customers and then try to keep running faster than the consequences.
Utterly false and absurd. Tesla doesn't change trim pieces like other manufacturers and call it a new year model.

Some of you guys are expecting absolute 100% perfection from an automobile, and thus, your expectations are blatantly ridiculous.

You are right the trim just falls off the CT. Others change trim, but at least it sticks.

You quoted below yet you didn't address it or won't. Tesla ships crap and worries about the problems later. Kind of reminds me of Wall Street Banks.

How many problems has the CT had? I see more apologists than I do fans here.

Lets see for me:

Two wipers
Cantrail
New HV battery
New wiring harness
New rear cover for bed
New tailgate latches
One leaking suspension piece
Non working glovebox
Wind noise that sounds like a hurricane
Most often the truck came back with more problems than it started.
I am still thinking I think there are three more things.

Sell your truck and buy an F-150 if it's so horrible then. Maybe you will be happy in your delusion rather than sulking up this forum with your embellishments.

Embellishments? Would you like to see the service tickets? Again truth hurts for some. Some of us are grownups and call a spade exactly that. Sounds like someone is having a temper-tantrum.

Cool story. I guess you don't understand sample size distortion because this is an enthusiast forum.

I'd have Grok explain it to you, but this isn't X.

I have owned 5 Teslas and the CT is absolutely the most problematic.

I've had to replace the AC, PCS, Motor/Pump for Air Suspension, and the Tonneau motor.

2 of those things left the CT undrivable and need to be towed.

I love the truck, but I do worry about it holding up. It's not anecdotal, Reddit, TMC, and here there are a large reported amount of failures, especially with the PCS.

You bought a gen 1 product that has TONS of new, untested tech.

Again, expecting absolute perfection is absurd.

What's next, going to complain that FSD made a single mistake on your 1000 mile drive?

So not expecting perfection. Have owned S,X,Y,3,CT Tesla in the first 2000 VIN. CT is trash. Now go on back to the padded room little boy @REM (Stewie)

Joined the forum Monday. One thread. Smells like a hit piece that the author wants picked up by the mainstream media. We know they comb through these threads looking for this type of experience. If you’re a long term TSLA investor you can file this directly into the FUD inbox.

Sorry your experience hasn’t been like mine or most other responses to this post. MSM won’t report on all the replies to your thread that’s for sure. Good luck with your next vehicle.
