Pretty impressive, still able to move them up/down despite multiple shots. Maybe Tesla does away with HFS altogether or perhaps offer an ALL glass version of the CT 😂

Did you even watch the video? This is an aftermarket glass.

And to answer the question, you could always do this, either with the armor glass or stock glass:

yep I know about all the manual door pull handles front and back. just wondering about the stock windshield sunroof and windows. if that part fails. I suppose I can carry a steel ball around in my truck to toss several times at the window glass.

all kidding aside, im genuinely wondering. im a loyal owner and love my CT. best car ive owned. just want to be able to get out in a jam.

Understandable , sorry if I was snippy. With all the mostly unwarranted negative press about this truck, I've about had it with the Debbie Downer comments (which is what I initially perceived your comment to be).

I did see forum posts around here regarding a rescue tool of some sort for breaking and cutting glass like this one: https://www.lifelinerescuetools.com/pages/first-responder

Cant comment on the product personally, as I dont own one nor have I ever been in a situation that warranted one.

Back to the glass though, just damn crazy the abuse it was able to handle! Just wish it didnt cost half the truck 😂

What does aftermarket have to do with safety? “They couldn’t out after the wreck, but it was aftermarket, so it’s all good”.
And no, I didn’t watch the video. I don’t watch videos posted on here without a summary, this isn’t Instagram for just scrolling videos.
But one could assume, without watching, that a bulletproof window would be quite hard to break.

That was a legitimate question asked.
