I won an online sweepstakes and won a Cybertruck. Turns out it is a 2026 RWD. Given all the things stripped out is it worth it to keep this thing? I kinda like it and feel like I want to keep it but it feels like so much is missing over an AWD version. I get that I got this for free so am I crazy for wanting more?

So far for me the 7 vs 15 speaker audio, no power ports in the bed, no second screen and or course RWD all kinda bug me that they are missing. There is also no tiedown system in the bed and less lights in the bed as well and the no tonneau cover. A crypto company called Ballet and their CEO Bobby Lee did a Twitter/X giveaway

If it has free supercharging then keep it. Perfect long range EV for roadtrips. Soon enough you’ll feel the itch for a Cyberbeast, trade it in then. You’re welcome.

What do you mean by free supercharging? I have taken it to one. I paid for the power. Was I supposed to have to pay to access the Network in general?

A car model doesn't instantly disappear from dealer lots when production is discontinued. Foundation Series Cybertrucks were still available in Tesla inventory for several months after the end of production. And the same is true for RWDs; some Tesla stores still have them in stock.

For example, the Los Angeles area currently has RWDs with a choice of wheel options. Note that Tesla has discounted the base model by $2,100, which suggests that they are having trouble moving them.

What do you mean by free supercharging?

Sometimes Tesla will offer free Supercharging, for a limited time or even for the lifetime of the vehicle under the original owner, as a sales incentive. For example, lifetime free Supercharging is currently included with purchase of a Model S, Model X, or Cyberbeast (which all cost $94,990 and up). Unfortunately, I don't think this incentive was ever offered with the RWD Cybertruck.

If I didn't already have the experience with a DM CT and/or I wasn't in the market for a CT, I'd probably keep the LR since it's free-99. Don't know if I would pay a ~$20k difference to upgrade.

Since I have experience with a DM CT and if I was in the market for a CT, I'd probably cough up the difference and go straight to a CB. Going from a free LR to a CB would be less than buying a DM CT outright.

For me, right now, I'd probably keep it and get rid of some of my other cars. It would be my new beater. Plus, I think it would be kinda cool having a rare CT even though it was a base model.
