I order my second beast on 11-15-2025. I have a 2024 foundation beast my wife is now driving - and it's also now pink o_O. My thought was I wanted to get the 2026 but wanted it at the end of 2025. I placed the order and was shown that it would be 3-5 weeks to get it... perfect! I got a message stating the delivery window would be 12/12 -12/31. Knowing how Tesla likes to get as much pushed out by year end I would certainly get it. NOPE, on Dec 17 when i asked about an update, they told me 1/30 - 3/27 and then last week they told me Feb 3 - March 17. This seems weird as they aren't selling a lot of them and I keep checking to see if any are in inventory locally and never see anything be 2025 demo's which I DO NOT want.

Anyone else experiencing this or am I an outlier? The only thing weird about my order is I also ordered the Terrestrial Armor Package on it.

I've had an AWD on order for a little bit now.

11/26 - Ordered, at the time website said "6-8 weeks"

Never got any sort of update or date window aside from that from anyone or the app, but using the 'take this other build for quick delivery' option in the app, my supposed window was 12-26 thru 12-31.

Around 12/27 that 'back door sorta date' slipped, it then said 'Jan 26th -> March 6th' or something crazy like that.

Then around 1/3 my status in the app flipped to 'in production', I got a VIN assigned, and I lost the ability to take a faster delivery via the app (not that I wanted the 2025 beast demos they kept offering anyway)

1/9 - I was advised my truck is scheduled to arrive at SC on 1/26, and I have a scheduled 1/27 delivery. Even though in the app it is still listed as 'in production'.

I guess technically 1/27 (if it holds) would be 8 weeks since I ordered, so... I can't complain I guess.

I also had the Terrestrial Armor package on mine, so I do wonder if maybe that has caused some delay somewhere.

People have posted here about their new 2026 AWDs and 2026 RWDs, not sure about 2026 CBs. A 2026 will have "T" in digit 10 of the VIN (2024 = "R" and 2025 = "S").

There don't seem to be very many 2026 Cyberbeasts in inventory. But the Tyler, TX store has one, so they apparently do exist:

I wonder why they are building for inventory and not for a customers order - unless its from a order that was not accepted

What's the draw for 2026, versus 2025 and or demo's? I've been considering getting a demo to save a few grand on what otherwise seems to be an identical truck. I want to make sure I am nto missing something.
I am sure the battery cells will get upgraded to the newer stuff later this year, and I have no doubt HW5 will roll out in 12 to 14 months, but none of that applies to anything being built today.

Maybe that was a reject order/ financing fell through, etc.
maybe in texas they are ramping up cybercab vehicles and CT is on the back burner for a bit?
I've got a 2026 AWD CT. got it december 4th. i was going to get the beast but there was no ETA on when a 2026 beast would be avail, so i went with AWD.
I got an early December AWD 2026 myself.
What kind of deal did you get? I'm thinking I'm an outlier because I got the best deal on a new CT I have seen on these boards and elsewhere.
I placed an order September 30th to qualify for the 7500 EV credit, delayed delivery until early Dec (because I was dithering between the CT and the Lucid Gravity), got a new 2026 build, got 0% APR, got 1 year free supercharging, got $500 heroes discount, got $1000 loyalty discount, got FSD transfer. That wasn't all. When I showed up, the truck was full of rail dust which I didn't know was a thing. I got pissy, so they polished every single spot off (and I mean every single one). Damn thing was showroom quality at the end. I only knew about rail dust when I saw other CTs getting serviced. I'm now a firm believer in the saying "squeaky wheels get the grease."

Your experience is similar to mine, I ordered my beast on 9/19 and got no updates until early late November / December. Took delivery on 12/11. Very frustrating considering it said 3-5 weeks and I sold my GMC right away so I was truck less and Tesla wasn't giving a lot of info.

Resale is still dependent on model year, even if Tesla constantly updates all year. Getting a 2026 in December, versus a 2025 in December, could be a difference in thousands of dollars of value when you go to sell.

It appears they have throttled CT production to the current roughly 1,000 per month take rate. With the recent announcement that they cancelled the battery cell content supply contract for the 4680 cell used only in the CT, the question is whether they will invest in the engineering to switch the CT to li phosphate formats used in their other vehicles. The 4680 was supposed to be the enabler for longer CT range and towing capacity, as well as faster charging and cheaper production costs, but none of those three things worked out as hoped, at least party due to the truck’s market acceptance failure. The nickel cathode content remains expensive, and continued production of that cell simply isn’t feasible. The larger cylindrical 4680 cell was also intended for the MY and 3, but that hasn’t happened, mostly due to the iron phosphate switch and the fact that there are still significant manufacturing issues with the tabless format.

Yep. 2026 Vin 87xxx. I was an early reservation holder that waited after the first year bugs were worked out, and then some. Test drove my first EV (CT) Nov. 26 2025. Sat down and let the advisor help through the order process. Got me $1000 credit using neighbor as referral. Was quoted 3 to 5 weeks for pick up.

2 days later got the notification for pickup Dec. 1, 2, or 3. Started insurance, and found when I gave them the Vin it was a 2026 model year. Paid with wire from acct. including the $8000 FSD.

No issues other than the well known quirks to work around.

edit; AWD model.

I got a 2026 AWD. Ordered 12/23, delivered 12/27. 11 miles on delivery.

I know, I know…I can’t explain it either, must have gotten lucky ordering right at truck drop off or something.
