Some of us want the ability to do things quickly. Climate Control, Lights, Window Lock and child lock would be great and some programmable options too. Need just a slim bar under the screen, doesn't even need to have storage.

Agreed, some one-touch buttons are great. Relying too much on a smooth touchscreen interface means you can’t do anything without looking. I believe the touchscreen-only wiper option in the MY didn’t last long because of this.

There’s many great shortcuts to actions in the CT, like how the wiper and headlight buttons automatically bring up the appropriate detailed setting on the screen, but it would be great to be able to customize a bit more.

I don’t personally think those buttons for M3/MY quite hit the mark. Seems to err on the side of now just making a button for everything, which quickly becomes more cumbersome than a well thought out touchscreen. A better option would be the ability to customize button a to quickly run a few actions in a sequence.

For example - arriving at a campsite, it’d be nice to program a button to set camp mode, turn off sentry, turn off overheat protection, turn on a few lights, turn on the power taps, outlets, etc.

I wish the steering wheel had a re-mappable button or 2. If they do design this for the cuber truck, please do it without the storage holder, Something on the back of the steering wheel, hidden would be nice.

Some of those can be done with iOS shortcuts too. (Obviously not all can be done w/out service with the upcoming local Bluetooth functions in versions to be released)

You mean other than holding down the left roller button?

Yes, because that takes a while, requires looking at the screen, and doesn’t give you all the options, only what Tesla wants to show.

I guess I've just been driving Tesla models for too long and don't really see the need ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
a lot of what people have mentioned are also doable via voice commands

I’ve he a Model S since 2020, and it had real buttons. But it’s always nice to have options. I also have a jeep, and I can just add things to it, and their buttons without worrying about breaking the aesthetics, because it’s ugly. But if I add something to the CT, to one of the awesome connection points Tesla has provided, no way to flip a switch to turn it on, without going into the screen and toggling a switch.

@Teslaunch Any update on this? I really could use some physical buttons ... and good ol' AI says there are some for the Cybertruck, but none of the products I see online indicate they work with it ... :(

Coincidently, I just messaged enhance over this for their commander and S3XY buttons this morning and stumbled on this thread getting revived. I'm pretty damn close to trying to solve this myself if neither them nor Teslaunch will do it.
