Following as I’ve been interested in this upgrade as well.

For $2500 Based on my research with nemesis you’re paying for a service. You have to somehow get your light at to them. Then they rebuild yours. Or you can pay an extra $1000 for them to buy one straight from Tesla build it then ship to you. Also with this company it’s $200 shipping so your looking at $2700

For $2000 With the boring light they offer similiar services. THEY also give you some options that nemesis doesn’t.
For $2800 You can keep your light attached then when you receive your boring light you install it and you send back your oem DRL to them. Once received they refund the $800 core charge. Shipping is only $100

side note: on the boring light website it states adding this bar will remove functionality during the light shows. So if you really like the way the drl acts during these then this light might not be right for you.

Would be nice to be able to see a video of the animations side by side. Or at least an actual demo of each which runs through all the settings .

@denniscw I believe has some clips on YouTube of the nemesis from sw lights. If I’m not mistaken

Been watching some of those. Kind of leaning to the SW lights but the price is a major deterrent. $2500 for the DRL , $2500 for the headlights and then $500 for the underglow.

Are you local to the shop? Or gonna ride around with no drl while they are building yours?

I’m in phoenix so no. Was thinking I’d ship them the light. Doesn’t sound like they have as good of a core charge arrangement as the boring light folks in Colorado.

Anyone recently install one of these? Happy with the outcome?

I’m watching as well but I’m waiting for new versions to hopefully support the light show.

If you’re looking for one that keeps the light show check out getcyberglow.com I have one thru them and it keeps the light show.

Very cool. An option I hadn’t seen before.
why the fuck are they all 2-3k even without the Tesla part?
Talked to the SW lights guy on the phone last week. Seemed nice enough but wanted way too much even for what he made sound like the “lame version”. No thanks.
3 grand for a diy part I have to install and is basically featureless unless I pay another $1000k for a module?
Pretty cool, but not at the price of a urander rack. They can hold onto them or continue to sell them to the 1000s of celebs they claim are buying them until they price them more realistically.
I know I can afford it and I can’t say I’m cheap with respect to my car but I won’t enjoy a part I feel like I’ve been con’d by someone to purchase.

Yeah I was wondering about the pricing too until I saw how they’ve got it structured.

– Base price: 2,800
– 15% off sale: 2,380
– Then an 800 core credit if you send your bar in
= 1,580 all in.

Still a chunk of change, but it’s not a straight 3k for a part you still have to install. I did my install in 10 minutes it wasn’t terrible

Ok.. that’s better than I thought. Can you post a little show-off video?
SW lights wants $3500 or so for the v3 with the features. $2900 I think he said for the v2 which has features but not good organized ones he said and a little less for the bar that can only change colors with no animations.
He also told me the boring light people was basically an old customer that ripped him
off and uses cheap Chinese parts.
Don’t know if any of this is true but that was the gist of the conversation.
Not surprisingly the words Malibu and Shaq also found a way into the phone exchange.
