I wonder how the plate with the two bored screw holes attaches to the side of the light bar? Adhesive?

it is described in the service bulletin with photos. Looks like it replaces the side plastic cover and clips in.

Because if I don’t have to take it off to add another layer of security, why not? If the service bulletin was, “step one, chisel it the fuck off of there” there is no way I would do it.
They have to have built in a decent amount of adjustability too because I’ve seen several of these SC installed lightbars and they are anything but consistent in terms of placement.
The…err…employees at my SC aren’t exactly people I’d apply the term “machine”, or “human torque wrench” to.
Which means the bracket should be easy to use even for someone like me who winged the whole process.
