I'm probably just going to do quick release fasteners for the defuser. On for range, off quick for wheeling. First I'll run with it off for a while and see range effect.

Tires look great with the center caps, but the wheel covers have always looked a bit out of place on any tires other than OEM IMO. Diffuser delete would be perfect with some kind of cheap piece to clean it up. Right now looks a bit unfinished. Maybe the aftermarket will come through with something for that.

What I am trying to do is to replicate as close as I can to the 2019 reveal truck, more than anything in the truck, I hate the OEM tires and wheels, on top of that, the redesigned wheel covers with the shortened rubber end. If you look at the 2019 reveal truck, you will see the aggresive tires and the non existing diaper, just a cover. I know the pictures I posted were taken in a rush, but I will post more pictures as I can and I personally love it. I was inspired by a black CT that put the Gladiators with 2 inches spacers.

As for the diffuser, I hope someday some one just offers a flat panel as "diffuser erase"

Ok. Hit us with the range loss? What are the numbers? They do look badass.

Thanks, so these are not as bad as my 325/Black Rhino's, I would say the range loss is about 5%.

Looks great, add some mud flaps

Personally I dont like mud faps, I havent had any problems with splashing and anything like that, even with my 325's

I like a clean look, without any apendix :)

I hope you are planning on taking her mostly off road. With that aggressive tread pattern, your road resistance will greatly increase as you probably know, over oem tires. But hey, who cares when they look that badass! I'm just jealous!

Thank you, personally I don't think this truck is built for off road, I treat her more like a pavement queen. Without doing anything crazy, I bent the rear skid plate, the one that's right after the battery pack finish.

Being my first EV vehicle, having gone all out on this one, I can say confidently, that the battery range just sucks, and definately is a not off road vehicle, yes you can take it off road but is way far away of a typical off road vehicle.

And you can criticize me all you want, I put my skin in the game and these are my conclusions, not even Elon will make me think differently.

Yeah. I like it a lot too. Purely a vanity thing, hard for me to believe it has any aerodynamic impact that’s measurable.

Very surprised nobody has come out with a blanking panel for it almost two years after release. Completely transforms the rear end of the truck, for the better.

Right? I am really looking forward to it. I have to say this, not sure how you fellows are going to take it, but it seem like Tesla always does amazing, better than what presented on the reveal. But, for the CT, I feel like even thou I love my beast, and I went all in, I am still dissapointed at the small things, that didn't make it better than the revealed one. The diaper, the tires, the range, the price, the wheel covers, the light bar, also the wheels in particular that I think they are the most ugly wheels Tesla EVER made, on top of that, I kinda knew we were FCKD when Elon said they will reduce the size by 5% and making it a 5 seater instead of the promised 6 seats. Anyways, Im venting here. I think Im embolden by the fact that I have skin in the game.
