I have owned and regularly drove a ICE pickup truck for decades. The most annoyingpart of my 2024 foundation cyberbeast truck bed is reaching over the side of the bed behind the cab. For vertically challenged people like me it is hard to reach into the bed. Those 30X SS edges will get ya!

I keep my ratchet straps on the side Molle panels. Use to keep them in the smugglers Bay, but found myself having to downgrade my load to get them.
Get one of these.

Was recommended to me by @dalton108 . Takes almost no space, is very light and makes reaching into the bed feel effortless.
Thanks Dalton for alway recommending the bougiest solutions.

having to get into, and out of it for loading and unloading. A heavy duty bed glide that allows access to the smugglers bay would be amazing. needs to be super low profile and strong, thinking carbon fiber sandwiched aluminum. Also a real solution that works with the onboard software for a wireless 360 camera that works when the tailgate is down or any other time I want.

I once had to haul a huge two part desk that took up literally every inch of the bed. And I had to go through a rainstorm. It was too tall to close the cover so I wanted to put a tarp over the whole bed. Trying to secure the tarp with bungies to the side of the truck near the wheel wells and along the paneling didn't work at all. Only made it 100ft before the bungies slipped off and I lost the tarp.

D rings in the bed nearest the cabin are too far forward. Between the shape of the front wall and the position of the rings, a rachet strap running across the bed can't grip much of the load. For example, trying to secure a couple of large totes.

A way to climb into the bed (and back down again). I'm not getting any younger and although I'm tall, this is still a pain because a very ugly fracture resulted in one almost-fused arthritic ankle that I can't land on. It's slated for a surgical replacement, but even after that is healed, impacts aren't recommended... A folding step, preferably at a corner so you can use the box wall for support, would be a welcome addition.

I don't know how many times I've had a load shift and jam/wedge the tonneau when I try to open it. Getting that cleared is never easy because the point of contact is always just beyond reach... 🤦‍♂️. Unfortunately, I don't see a fix for that besides "prevention".

Yup. That is an easy add. If you remember 5 years ago, we were teased with an integrated ramp. That would have been cool, but I understand the impact of having that option

I’m a spoiled city slicker but also have an x so for about 100k I modestly resent not having power tailgate and doors.
i mean, I can open the tailgate from the app but I can’t close it? Disgrace. lol.

I hear you!

They replaced my tailgate (glue issue, of course...) and didn't tension it up. That thing is heavy when the assist is missing!

Definitely what @carsly said about the water ingress, but in addition, here are a few others.

1) I use my truck for tools and random items, and have a bed mat to protect the floor, but the sides, back wall, and tailgate all scratch so easily or have random color marks that rub off.

2) The bed mat I have does have cutouts for the floor D-Rings, but I haven't cut them because dirt, mud, and debris will find their way into the depths, and I don't want to see that build up. So I don't use my D-rings.

3) I use the Summglers Bay almost every day, but it's a pain when I have tools in the bed. I either need to move them out of the way or keep them all the way to the back to allow access. Not a big deal, just annoying. I have a bed divider that I use, but having to climb into the truck each time is a first 🌎problem.

4) I sometimes use long ladders or long pieces of lumber that hang over the edge of the tailgate when it's up and close the tonneau cover to pinch it in place, but the top of the tailgate is plastic and can be damaged easily. I've seen the "protectors" on Amazon to cap the tailgate, but they all look so cheap.
