I love my Cybertruck. It brings me a different lifestyle. I do some overloading recently. But there is one thing that annoys me. Dust! My Cybertruck's tonneau cover is waterproof. Water doesn't get in when driving in the rain. But dust does get in when driving on dirt roads.

First. Kudos on the rinsekit. Awesome piece of gear. Suggest seeking input from forum member @CT_AZ_4x4 . He masterfully made his truck bed functionally dust….err…resistant. (Read, dustproof)

OK. The dust goes in from bottom of tailgate. I thought it gets in from top. Will try to block the gap. Update later

I ran two lengths of this type of sealing rubber d-shaped tube across the entire length of the bed where the surface mates with the tailgate when the gate is closed. Before I did this I was having huge problems with dusty roads, especially where there was powder-like dust, it coat everything in the bed, entirely and remorselessly. Now? Entirely mitigated.

You just need to use some alcohol or sealant enhancer and cut the strips so that you can access the smuggler’s bay.

I’ll take photos later today. Took like 10 minutes if that. I used something like the following:

This item works well for me - Tail gate block You have to cut it in 3 pieces (left, middle and right)
That is interesting, any pics of it installed?
Have you had issues with water draining out of the bed with the tailgate up, unfortunately the vault is not waterproof, but that looks interesting to keep dust out.

I had some lying around from a different project and I forget exactly. I’ll measure it later today and take a few photos. I think it was 1/4 or 3/8ths? I’ll measure later today…

3/8ths did the trick. I ran two runs.

I just got around to installing a gap shield today. Worked out really nice, well, haven't been road tested yet, but install is super easy and I cut the strips where storage handle and openings would be, see pics. Adhesive is only on the bed side, not tailgate. Got it from here. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/gapshield-tailgate-gap-cover-for-trucks-2517618

This is what I did. Totally unobtrusive and virtually unseen too. Bought the seal and square sponge from Home Depot. I cleaned with alcohol prior to installing the seal. The sponge I just throw in my smugglers bay, and only wedge in down there IF I know I'll be 4wheeling in heavy dust. Works great.
