Maybe I’m the last one to know, but …
1. Did you know that when you go into Cybertent Mode, the car gives you several lighting options that you can control with your phone? I’m assuming most people know that.
2. Did you also know that in addition to the “signature light bar” [DTRL], tail lights, and bed lights, that if you have the OEM light bar you also get controls for that?
Oh really? You knew all of that? OK smarty-pants; let’s keep going!
3. Did you know that you have three levels of intensity for each grouping of lights— •, ••, and ••• ? AND that when you’re on the lowest setting for the signature light bar it actually completely dims the middle section— effectively giving you the look of two headlights???
I DID NOT KNOW THAT!
This means that there is definite hope for those of you who have to deal with the running lights blinding you in snow storms!
The light bar not only has the ability to do this, it actually ALREADY DOES IT in this particular scenario, so, it’s really just a matter of folks convincing Elon and Co. that they need to make this dimmable AT WILL by owners … NOW!
If this is widely known, then please forgive me for being late to the party.
