Maybe I’m the last one to know, but …

1. Did you know that when you go into Cybertent Mode, the car gives you several lighting options that you can control with your phone? I’m assuming most people know that.

2. Did you also know that in addition to the “signature light bar” [DTRL], tail lights, and bed lights, that if you have the OEM light bar you also get controls for that?

Oh really? You knew all of that? OK smarty-pants; let’s keep going!

3. Did you know that you have three levels of intensity for each grouping of lights— •, ••, and ••• ? AND that when you’re on the lowest setting for the signature light bar it actually completely dims the middle section— effectively giving you the look of two headlights???

I DID NOT KNOW THAT!

This means that there is definite hope for those of you who have to deal with the running lights blinding you in snow storms!

The light bar not only has the ability to do this, it actually ALREADY DOES IT in this particular scenario, so, it’s really just a matter of folks convincing Elon and Co. that they need to make this dimmable AT WILL by owners … NOW!

If this is widely known, then please forgive me for being late to the party.

I can’t show you screenshots from here because I’m not near my truck and it’s currently level two charging which means I can’t enter C/T mode anyway, but:

Once you toggle you’ll have options for lighting mapped out over a diagram of the truck. Select the signature light bar and make sure it’s on the lowest setting. “•”

Ok. So then you’re in cybertent mode which levels out the car. I happen to use a cybertent so familiar with that, but then what about the lighting options?

See above. It may require you swiping up again. You can correct me after you find it and maybe do a screenshot for everyone else when you do.

Oh. So you have to have the cyberbeast bar to have cybertent lighting options?
I have the peasant version AWD with the Chinese knockoff light bar.

Correct, you get special controls for the OEM light bar if you have it and it only uses the lateral ditch lights in this application.

BUT, you still have the “signature light bar” DTRL and you can get that two headlight effect. The center is not lit in this photograph; it’s just appears to be dimly glowing because of the laterals.

Wow! I was the smarty pants you referred to who thought I knew all the tricks. But NO, I had to get up early and try this out.

Im guessing since we are all in tent mode now we can’t drive with this newly discovered signature light bar split?

Correct. But now we know that Tesla can easily make this happen.
