So to start out my wife was fine… no injury’s at all. It was snowing pretty good this morning and she slid thru a stoplight and got T Boned by another pickup doing about 40mph… Truck took it like a champion! Any guesses on repair estimates? Think it’s totaled?

Oof, sorry to see this happened but glad to hear your wife is okay.

Your CT looks like it took minimal damage if the other guy was doing 40mph during the T-bone. As long as there isn't damage to the giga-casted frame, I'd say all you need to do is replace the doors and airbags. But if the frame is damaged, as it is designed for major crashes, you may be looking at it totaled.

Sorry to hear this. I’m glad your wife is ok. CT took it really well. 40 mph T-bone from a truck could have been really bad. The panels are hardly bent, but as others mentioned, if the frame has taken a hit, then it’s totaled. Just curious - how did the other vehicle look?

No she didn’t take any pictures and it was all cleanup by the time I got to the scene… She said it was an Older Chevy Pickup and the Bumper was torn off but apparently was still driveable.. The 40 MPH was my wife’s estimation and based on her estimating skills on when to apply the brakes it could be suspect to error.. :) Ill keep everyone updated.

The "BoostedBois" bought a Cybertruck similarly damaged that was totalled. He's got a few followup videos on the repairs that were far more adventurous than he expected lol

Is that the deployed center airbag? It looks like it came out of the driver's right side bolster wing? If that's the case, y'all that have front seat covers had better check to see if they have the necessary accommodation for this center airbag being deployed from there because as far as I know, my seat cover is compliant only with the side impact airbag, no mentioning of the center airbag at all. Anyone sees it differently? Please chime in. This would be a big safety issues for drivers that have seat covers.

Yes Both front Seats on the Right Side the airbags blew. I agree that your taking a risk using the seat covers.

Okay, here's my estimate... hehe...

I pick.... $9400... Based on it looks like it's just the two doors 'damaged' and the airbags and such of course... Yeah, I think under $10K for sure... Didn't even take out the mirror, glass etc...

Of course I have to wonder why it's on a tow truck... Now if it doesn't DRIVE for some reason (due to damage) then that's a whole nutter can-o-worms...
