Just to close the Loop on this Thread. The Truck was indeed Totalled by Progressive. The Estimated Repairs were at $48,000. It needed to have the Outer Door Loop assembly replaced which you have to strip the truck to the bones and remove and reweld etc.. They did tell me it was on the bubble of being Totalled and what pushed it over the edge was that this repair requires special Tooling that is not available anywhere locally and expensive. I guess they have to put this truck on a platform with some kind of special measuring equipment to make sure it goes back correctly. Im probably explaining this wrong but im not a body guy.
So still dealing with everything but Progressive gave an ACV of 83k for my Truck and I owed 89k GAP insurance is going to cover the Difference.
I also ordered a Replacement AWD Base Spec Cybertruck with 4k Off because it is a new 2024 Model (Not a Demo) . I also got the Loyalty Discount for my faithful worship at the alter of Tesla!
Hopefully will take delivery still this month and when I get My truck back my world will be whole again! I was really looking at Hummer EV and Rivian but the cybertruck with SBW and Air Suspension and just the knock out look kept me in the game!
