Knight Rider KITT custom lock sound! [sound file download]

Really cool! Tried this but after a while it reverted back to the original. Any ideas why that might be?

Not sure, did you try selecting the USB option again? It says it does a random pick of the pre loaded sounds if the USB sound isn’t properly formatted or having an issue.

Had a situation in my ‘23 3 that the lock confirmation sound turned completely off. After messing with different lock sounds, went back to the no custom lock sound setting but it inadvertently turn the sounds completely off.

That said, did you change any related settings that may have caused it to revert back?

Another cause might be the drive. If the drive unmounted, or otherwise is unreadable for a moment, I’d imagine the sound would revert back to stock.

Yes re-selected it, I was messing around with installing the tessie app after so maybe that did something, it seems to have stuck now

I downloaded the tessie app after and maybe during the initialization it did something. I re-configured the sound and as of today its sticking!

so you pull the usb flash drive out and plug it into your computer and add the sound file in the correct directory and you will be able to use it as a lock sound? wow cool
Steps:

1. Download the .WAV file above (LockChime.wav)
2. Put file on Sentry Mode flash drive that's in glove compartment
3. Make sure file is in the root directory (no sub folders, you'll see TeslaCam on there)
4. Go to "Toybox" app on CT
5. Open Boombox
6. Turn on "Lock Sound"
7. Select USB from the dropdown
8. Be like the Hoff!

Thanks to whoever posted that thread about adding the custom lock sound. I had never clicked in that boombox app before, here’s my sound!

Downloaded several times and put next to tesla cam file but truck not detecting it don't know what i am doing wrong
