TLDR: Thank you for the advice and trouble shooting steps shared here.

I was on a late night 7 hrs round-trip marketplace buy when my truck dropped the cameras and emergency braking ability in the middle of a fsd turn through a busy intersection.

I remember glancing over a bug about the new update. I couldn't bring up the post but willed myself to remember how it was fixed. Forcefully plucking the steps for resetting the ADAS and how to get to service mode to accomplish it from the farthest reaches of my brain on the spot. Saving the 3 hrs return portion when I needed FSD the most.

UPDATE:

How I did it-

Went to software tab on cybertruck screen.

Press and hold cybertruck logo until service mode prompt for password appears.

put in password (service)

Unlocked the gateway with right turn signal press and hold while holding the brake.

Then find driver assistance, cameras, and finally reset DAS.

Edit wrong video was attached
Similar process on model 3/Y

Thank you. That’s very helpful. Will stash that Info for a rainy day.

I too am grateful for this forum. I had the exact same problem. Made an appointment to get it fixed and it was going to take weeks to get in. This solution was a life saver as I use FSD religiously.

Just watched the video and I see the correct step is to:
1. Tap on reset das
2. The do the turn signal + brake command to trigger the reset.

the way it was written made it sound like one had to do the turn signal + brake to get the ‘reset dash’ button to appear.

Thank you. I will edit the post.
You can see why I was so surprised I pulled what I did from my memory.

I had to reset the DAS many times in my model 3 because the cabin camera wasn't working reliably. Eventually went to epc.tesla.com and purchased a new cabin camera for less than $200. Put it in myself (very easy, many youtube videos on it). Never had to reset DAS again :)

Hopefully I don't get this software glitch with my CT, but now I know the fix. Thank you!
