Likewise, I bought a CHAdeMO adapter during the Model S 75D days... big mistake. I think I used it once a long time ago at Horseshoe Bay only because I forgot to charge in Fairmont @ Whistler before leaving. CCS is a dead standard, there should be no reason to use. In fact, I would almost argue that the one time I did use my adapter to charge, it degraded my battery - not sure if it was a "handshake" issue, but my 320kms all of a sudden became 280kms of range.
I too have a CHAdeMO adapter from my early Model S days. Haven't used it that often but it did help me out of a bind a couple of times on long distance trips where the only fast charging that was working was a CHAdeMO unit. Unfortunately, the adapter requires frequent firmware updates for compatibility and needs a special harness to do the firmware flash at a service center. Many don't know about the adapter or the procedure -- that said, I would like to see it supported on Cybertruck as a backup option.

I got the Hansshow Tesla Cybertruck CCS1 yesterday and went to Costco to test out the charging rate and the process with Electrify America. My CT was about 30% on the battery, and I was getting around 200kw. I am planning a road trip next week up the Northwest coast, and charging will be limited, so I wanted a CCS adapter as a backup option. Overall, I am happy as this won't be my main way to charge, but more of a backup plan. Is the adapter able to pull 350kw or is it limited?
