So I’m blessed with the horrible “spray everything but the window and leave the right side a streaky mess” windshield washer system that many of us have grown to hate. Took a road trip from freezing New York down the east coast to southern Florida. Went from 19F to 83F. Nice. Saw 2 CT on the ride. One at a charger, one on a transporter. That’s IT.

Anyway, woke up this morning to a grimy windshield and thought, “ya hate it but gotta deal with what ya got” and reluctantly hit the button.

WHAT!!!

Fluid came out of every port along the blade like a torrent….and pointed right at the windshield. Two or three spray wipes and the windshield was clear! Unstreaked! Yes, even the right side.

Seymour (yes, my wife named him Seymour) has never seen 80 degree weather as I purchased in NY in December so that could be it….but to change so drastically how it sprays….even the DIRECTION!?!

I would swear a wiper blade angel swapped it out while I slept. Or….or….Elon and crew used Grok to devise a way to do a hardware update over the internet! Crazy huh? Is it?

Going to Cape Canaveral tomorrow to watch the launch…..if I see him, I’ll ask.

If it wipes crappy again in an hour I’ll let you guys know.

Not entirely surprised. The sprayer "nozzles" are just tiny pinholes in a rubber tube, and they probably open more when warmer.

Maybe they could have the pump modulate the pressure inversely-proportional to ambient temperature in order to compensate? ?
