Tesla just killed my smile…
I received a text telling me that they have reschedule my delivery because they “need more time to ensure my truck is perfect for delivery day”. I’ve been a huge Tesla fan for years….and I’ve hated car dealerships for decades, but one thing is certain. Because I purchased so many cars for personal and business over the years from the same dealership, they would have done whatever was necessary to not fail on a promise date.

Wow that sucks.. sorry to hear it. I’m wondering if they also rescheduled jjadmd’s for that same day but in the afternoon.

Look at it like this, you have your VIN, and you know where your truck is. What’s a day or so more.
I know you are correct. I‘ve been waiting 1545 days so far…so what’s another day or so. But, I’m old and running low on patience. ?

Nice was going to pick up super early but have a full schedule in the morning :( but afternoon worked perfect ?
Is your pick up still happening as scheduled??

Wow.. No words. I had delivery scheduled for 2/15 at 10:30. I just received the below on 2/14.. Cybertruck is have been delivered for weeks all over Florida. But fort myers can’t seem to get their shirt together.

That's disheartening. I wouldn't make too much of it though. If they think there is some issue with some of the vins, you'd probably rather let them deal with the issue before delivery.

It would be nice if they would stop the cloak and dagger BS, and actually tell you what the issue is/could be... But that isn't the tesla way.

So sorry to hear this! I agree with agordon117 that said they need to stop with the cloak and dagger BS and just be transparent with the situation. Odd that they pushed my delivery from 2/14 at 10:30 to 2/15 at 10:30….and this was done last week. So they double booked 2/15 at 10:30 and didn’t notify you until this morning?

I'd want to know exactly what a logistics hold means and what specific issue/"necessary standards" needs to be reaffirmed.

Seems like the Ft. Myers location is a weak spot particularly with communication.

Sorry to hear of these issues guys and hope it is a faded bump in the road soon after driving home in your new wheels.

This definitely means there is a safety issue or major defect. It's the equivalent of a dealership stop sale. There is liability if they make the delivery, not simply a cosmetic imperfection.

There are reports of this happening all over so it seems there is potentially a widespread issue they are trying to resolve. I wonder if anyone knows what it is yet?
