A vandal in Las Vegas who lit a Tesla repair center on fire has been arrested, bringing a name and face to the crime that engulfed vehicles and a structure in flames.

Officers in Las Vegas arrested Paul Kim, a 36-year-old, on Wednesday. He faces charges of arson and possessing an explosive device.

The Tesla repair center at 6260 West Badura Avenue was set aflame on March 18 at around 2:45 a.m. In total, five vehicles were set on fire, as well as the building itself. It was one of the more notable instances of vandalism against Tesla in recent months, but police now have their culprit.

Las Vegas Metro Police Department Sheriff Dori Koren described the weapons Kim used to execute the attack:

“He used what appeared to be multiple Molotov cocktails and firearms to conduct his attack.”

Tesla needs to prepare for tomorrow’s Lefty Assault. If he had these at the store entrances, it may be a little bit of a deterrent. ?

I am so impressed Las Vegas PD. Great Job. It will be very interesting to see how this turns out. But damage alone to the vehicles and building is well over a million dollars. If he gets one of those extreme judges they will probably let him plead diminished capacity do to the overwhelming hatred he has for Elon and he was out of his mind. I wonder if this is categorized as domestic terroism as it was aimed at a company and not a country ummm. Anyone have some thoughts on that? So sad what our country has evolved into with the blue and red. First it was the north v south this is just further divisiveness and only hurts us as a nation.
I agree with you as far as destroying the nation. I just got a cybertruck last month so you can not accuse me as a hater one side or the other.
However, let's have an open mind and examine the facts. I ordered my cybertruck because I admired Elon before he got crazy. I still bought my cybertruck after Elon became crazy. To me it's what Elon did like firing government employees and some people including myself believe that his job was supposed to prepare a report to congress after their findings on the agencies. But then again, they dont trust congress. In contradiction, they want the party majority in congress. I don't condone violence but IMHO, many people saw the acts as a rampant abuse of power. It's easy to think and act on the bright side until you or your loved one's are gravely affected by the actions you dislike. I, myself didn't appreciate Elon brandizing the chain saw as he fired people. He looked like a sadistic person, happy to inflict injury to others. So, I understand somehow but I don't condone torching cars. The infiltrator was not alone with his feelings because it happened in several places.
I still love my cybertruck, I admire Elon's scientific abilities. I did not like some of Elon's actions. I understand the infiltrator's feeling but I don't condone what he did. I don't condone violence. I don't like the divisiveness of some people. If there's an effect, there's a cause. For every action, there's always an equal and opposite reaction.
