Spontaneous glass roof cracking

If you follow the Xpel link, it specifically excludes the windshield and roof. It also only covers the tint not the glass.

It allows you to choose different options in case you don't want to do certain windows. It does allow you to choose all the windows except the windshield.

As someone said take the tint off before you go to service just to avoid any excuse for them to use to not cover it .
I’ve read that 3M is the best to use on that , also as someone stated there has been no proof the tint caused this, I’ve seen peoples roof crack with no tint. My M3 has been tinted for a year
My tint guy told me many people don’t realize they already had an issue and didn’t notice. I was a glazier

Plenty of thing can cause it. Install was to close to an edge so expansion made it hit metal , before install , the glass was defective , the glass already had a shelled edge that didn’t run back out in the first place. To many things to just say it’s the tint.

On a trip is some cold temps, between -5°F and 20°F, with no extreme temp changes like a car wash or heated garage. Noticed one morning the roof glass is cracked in giant circles. Have an appointment to get it replaced but sounds like it is not covered under warranty.
