So I got @RPM TESLA's RGB interior LED kit a few days ago with their Black Friday special. Came out to $80. Quick shipping, good quality, and they even through some candy and a nice note in the box which was cool.

The problem im having is when I went to use them, they work perfect in park mode or while charging. However when I shift into gear the lights turn off. I messed with the footwell light settings and its turned on and the normal OEM lights work just fine. However the RPM lights go dark as soon as I am in gear which makes the whole point of having them null. Has anyone experienced this issue or used this product before? From what I noticed, everything works just fine in park (full brightness) however when I go into gear, the OEM's dim to about 30-40% brightness and the RPM lights go dark. My guess is the logic in the truck attempts to turn the lights down but because they aren't OEM lights, they just turn off.

Super impressed with the lights themselves. I wouldn't say they are 10x brighter or anything. Maybe 2x but they do allow you to switch colors with the included remote and adjust brightness which is great. A noticeable improvement that I plan on keeping if I can get them to work. You can also control each individual light which makes having the interior lights one color but the puddle lights another customizable, which is awesome. So far I had installed just the rear floor lights and one passenger door puddle light. Thankfully I checked them before switching out the rest.

Any update to this from RPM? I'm looking for better / more interior lighting options currently because my daughter and I complain about just how dark this truck is inside at night! I wish the overhead "dome" light bar would stay on in a very dim, 1% brightness level, while driving even. Wouldn't affect anything, and almost all luxury manufacturers have some sort of projection or ambient lighting that shines down on the center console, but we have nothing at all unless you turn on any of the interior lights at full brightness.
