They are not the same coverage. If you look at both brands pictures you will see they are slightly different coverages.

Use rubbing alcohol and you shouldn't have a problem.

Generally this product won't leave any adhesive residue. It's made to peel off cleanly, especially if it's applied and taken off the right way. But, factors like the weather & how long it's been on can play a role. If you do find some sticky residue left over, a gentle adhesive remover can usually clean it up without any trouble.
