I bought my CT with the core wheels and tires. I like the core wheels, but the street tires are p metric, not LT tires. I didn’t know this when I bought the truck. They ride great on pavement but are not durable. I had three rock punctures driving on caliche roads the three months I’ve owned the truck. Around 100 miles total on county maintained caliche roads out of 8k total miles. Had to get some better tires. I decided on nitto recon grapplers which are an off-road all terrain. They are 285/65r20 which makes them oem size. I’ve learned that all the mfg have just slightly different outer diameter even in the same size. The nitto are just slightly smaller than the oem. I’d like to update the truck so it is dead nuts on the speed and odometer. Is there a way to do it? It is only like 0.5% different but if it is possible,I’d like to update the truck. I’m wondering if there is a way in the not so secret secret service mode to do this. Pick for attention.

Seriously though, there is no user-level mechanism for setting the tire size. On other Teslas that ship with different wheel sizes, you can select which of the factory configurations you have.

I can't find a "set tire size" procedure specifically, but such fine-tunings usually require ToolBox 3 which is limited to Tesla Service personnel (or you can rent for $75/day).

Maybe you can request Tesla mobile service to do this for you?

There is a way to select other factory rims/tires in a CT, but they’re all the same overall diameter IIRC.

Tires section just deals with replacement/rotations.

Yeah I did switch to all terrain in that screen. I was thinking there might be a way to switch to non oem or custom in the service mode screens.
