Has anyone tried to initiate a buyback?

[malinecentral]

If so, what channel did you use? Did Tesla respond? How much did they offer?

[Weekend-offroader]

Call a rep through the app. More details here.

Good luck! May I know what happened to your unit? What's going on with it?

[Great Bay Shark]

If it still runs and drives, why not just take it to your local Porsche dealer?

[malinecentral]

I think Porsche has one too many on their hands right now and might have overpaid.

Tesla won't do a generic buyback. They will only do it in the case of you selling the vehicle and they decide that they will buy it back.

[malinecentral]

Yeah, but how do you even reach out to them?

[Gigahorse]

Yeah, but how do you even reach out to them?

You could do it via the app when trying to buy another Tesla and select your CT as a trade-in.
A Twitter user did it and their trade in offer was $51,000 for their AWD with 318 miles on it.

[cgladue]

the main number i guess ? the price is already known, purchase price minus 0.25 per mile on the odometer, i believe it says, less taxes and fees of course. you will have to eat those

[Woodrick]

Yeah, but how do you even reach out to them?

Look at your Order Agreement.
