It clearly says above that this issue was fixed with the revision:

Are the lift points blocked?

We will be releasing an install video on this product in the next week or so on my channel, but as I recall I saw the lift points and they were clear. The boards went in to the pre-existing holes with no problem. There are gaps at the lift points.

Just for the record the running boards look great on the truck!
