Floor storage in front of center console -- organizer / tray / drawer options?

I’ve noticed that there’s a huge empty spot on the floor in front of the center console and was wondering if anyone has found storage bins to utilize this area. It would be nice to have a place to just toss small belongings without have to open the center console with that cumbersome plastic piece that just slides down into of it.

you could use an organizer like one I reviewed.

I also tried using small bins I got from AtHome, but they’d slide around without something grippy beneath them.

I've been using the floor center console organizer from @BestEvMod(AOSK) for the past few months and it's been working well. I especially like the additional extra-large cupholders.
