Yah, but early adaptors got to be COOL for while. That is your bonus.
I didn't want to be cool and wife couldn't stand it - so I didn't get mine even though I was offered very early.
For me, free supercharging is useless. We have only used SC for one trip.
But if you do not charge at home - or live or work near an SC - or road trip a lot - Free SC is huge.
I know one guy who won't give up their aging X because it has free SC and they have only one spot in garage (for other X).
