Hi I just put a DIY video to install PPF on front panel on top of vinyl
Vinyl was scratching up with bugs hitting the front panel & during clean up process.
I did not invest too much, did a bulk PPF order for average PPF of 8 years life , paid 60 $ for 5ft X 10 ft PPF.
The cut piece I used would cost about ~15 or 20 $ tops
Did scissor cut and wrapped around edges to give complete look. Very pleased with results. Posted 3 videos on my channel.
