I’m still waiting on mine, but I met a guy with a Cybertruck on the way to a car show, and he was able to come too. We parked all the stainless brothers together:

sorry, a bit confused on that one. The gates for the “trails” were all closed, as in do not enter. What did you mean by “being open instead of closed”?

The main dirt road that goes through was accessible, no soft conditions at all. We could...
...So the road without soft conditions was open.

What's the confusion?

you had stated “You really shouldn't be going up there while the ground is so soft” and seemed to question the gates. The main road certainly wasn’t soft. I don’t know if the gates to the side trails were closed for wet conditions or some other reason.

Have you been over there recently? I haven’t been there in several years and don’t know what different reasons they might close the gates for the side trails that are off from the main road.

No, just that's one of the reasons to block the lesser-used trails. That they're soft. So instead of the road being damaged, or someone being rescued, they're closed.

I don't understand the confusion here. Using an open road is fine. But sometimes roads are closed for conditions or logging or whatever. Which is why you shouldn't go up them, and they're closed.

Did you assume I went around some gates when you said “You really shouldn't be going up there while the ground is so soft.”? We stuck to the main road which i don’t think I’ve never seen closed - there’s no gate for it.

They’ve had some of those side trails open when they’re muddy, i wouldn’t want to test the weight of the CT in mud, I’ll stick to the drier, wider, and more established trails and forest service roads.

No?

I don't see how you could get that, but clearly you did, so I'm sorry.

Also, just because they've not closed the roads when muddy doesn't mean it was good to drive on them. That's where someone's drinking water comes from, if not people, salmon.

I was trying to figure out if I missed a closure sign that you saw recently. We never went through the closed gates. As I mentioned before, we stayed on the main road which I’ve nenes personally seen closed - after all, there’s no gates to close the main road.
