Is the second picture a different tire or the opposite side of the first? The first picture looks like what’s being delivered on the FS. It is interesting if the second picture is the “standard“ tire that the FS is upgraded from.

Same tire. Typically tires like these with side wall lugs, manufacturers offer two patterns for the customer to choose from. Just turn have the side wall you like face outward.

That's the Goodyear AT tire - it's the only tire currently available on the CT - the AS tire is coming later. Those are pretty shallow treads for an AT tire though.

The tread doesn't look like the typical all-terrain tire. Is airing down the tire to expose the lower side wall to the ground necessary for off road traction?
