Sounds like fun!! Haven't been to Pismo in DECADES!

What 'size' whip flag do we need? Also, anything else we should bring?

Okay, so how do you rig up a 'whip' and flag for a cybertruck? Been looking around to try and figure it out to do it 'easy', but my brain's just not seeing it for some reason...

Would like a solution where I don't have to drill into the bumper though as this won't be a 'permanent' thing... I have a 'flag holder' at the rear of the L-tracks on the drivers side, but the 'hole' for the flagpole is 1.5" and I don't see a 'whip' type of thing anywhere near that large...

What you any/all of you others that have a setup (for sand dunes) that requires flags?

The easiest solution is a trailer hitch style whip available at just about any off road store. Those are generally less than $50. They come with the hitch receiver, whip, and flag. Other options mount in the vault (bed) and most require the cover to remain partially open. I can get you links to the styles folks are running in the vault if you can’t find them online. lol
