It was annoying to have to keep turning the windshield wipers to "off" constantly (about 3-4 times between supercharger stops) on a perfectly sunny day. Each time the wipers unexpectedly came on, I would press the wiper button on the steering wheel and then see it had reset itself to "auto" on the center display. I would then press the "off" to turn the wiper off to no avail. Sure enough a little later in the same drive the wipers would come on again and I would have to repeat this process. This bug needs to be fixed. If I turn my wipers off I want them to stay off until I decide to turn them on. My original 2013 model S stays off when I select off. I hope Tesla will address this problem. I spoke to another CT owner on the same drive at one supercharger stop and he said he had the same thing happening to him. I have software version 2025.8.7 installed.
