I purchased the set but I would like to know how these affect heat dissipation, what material are they made of? Thanks

I got these for my wife's Model 3. They faded in just a year. I also don't understand the horrible Diamond design on the cover. That being said I would buy these for my CT if I hadn't already painted mine, I would just paint over them with a better paint. Might get them for the rear wheels.
