Does anyone have recommendations for hard bottom back seat covers for large dogs? Would like to have one handy before I pick up my CT. My 2 German Shepherd Dogs come everywhere with me. Currently a little squished in the soft hammock in my Y.

I highly recommend the URANDER solution for this. We have two 100+lb GSD’s.
You fold up your seats and the dogs have the floor to sit/lay on.
The advantage of this configuration is the dogs are lower with further prevents them from easily hopping into the front seats

I recommend this one , it goes over the headrests and is super secure , very easy to take in and out . With a mesh section so the a/c can blow thru . My 2 50lb dogs love it .

I've got that one. It's sold by several of the usual online Cybertruck accessory sellers.

I think it's the best of what's currently available. But...
  • the vertical fabric sections, front and back, aren't long enough to allow the hard bottom of the liner to actually get support from the seats themselves.
  • even dropping the front seats right down (lower than I want to be sitting to drive) doesn't allow the liner bottom to contact the seat, let alone get support from it.
  • I received mine in March and it's already showing significant wear. In fact, the plastic bottom is coming out underneath in at least one spot and the top is worn almost through in several places. It gets regular use, but only for daily short trips for a romp.
  • I carry two 75-80 pound dogs. They get in and lie down. Only one will bother to poke his head out a window if I open it. So it's not like they're bashing around back there.
  • the bottom is slippery and they scrabble for traction every time they want to change position, or get up to get out. They're always slid back down the incline to the back of the back seat.
  • advertising shows straps to hold up the ends that protect the doors. Mine didn't arrive with the hooks on the straps...which didn't matter, because there isn't really a place in the truck to connect them anyway. So the end sections just flop.
  • the warranty is a year and I've been told that a replacement is on its way. However, given I got less than 6 months out of the first one, I don't have much hope that the replacement will make it to the end of the warranty period... they might be shipping a third one before the warranty expires.
So I think it's a product worth considering, but I can't say that it's the "be all, end all", of dog liners. If they had made them with more vertical fabric, maybe the seat would take most of the dog's weight and save the fabric from some of the wear it's been taking. But they didn't...

I have been using the Urander one. It is good, but could use some refinement. The front straps that go around the headrests would be better with a buckle and length adjustment like the back. Mine is too short on the front and consequently the bottom doesn’t sit flush on the floor. It could also use additional straps on the edges down by the bottom of the front seats as my dogs just nose the front panel out of the way and defeat the barrier. Aussies. What are you gonna do?

This one work great for my 2 Labrador Retrievers! Has a hard bottom that extends the sitting area to the back of the front seats when the front seats are in the full back position. I originally bought the tesla dog hammock and the only thing that I liked and continue to use is the door protectors. The Tesla hammock itself is crap.

Wow this seems really cramped compared to my F-150 Lightning. Are the backseats of the cybertruck really that much less spacious?

I’m waiting on my cybertruck to arrive but this is a major concern for me if true. Here’s some pics for comparison

I also have this one and it works great. Slightly tilted up toward the front seats but otherwise great. I have a second dog, a 65 lb golden retriever, that jumps in 'under' this one, so its like the 2 dogs have their own 'apartment'. I had hoped that this company would also make one for folded up back seats but they have discontinued it. I got another pet liner that works for folded up rear seats but the GR kept trying to get under it so I gave it up.

The one @Torque23 suggested looks like this one (not the Urander) except that for it the seats aren't folded up like what you show. I ordered one like you have shown but I didn't like how the door inserts worked. I ordered one of these (4knines):

https://www.amazon.com/4Knines-truc...1-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1

and it worked fine but the door inserts had to be ordered separately, which adds to the cost but is otherwise a good solution. The best for me probably would be the Foronetry design if they had a folded-seat version.
