I can't tell if you are joking.

I never said there was any stipulation. I said Tesla gave CT owners who didn't have FSD 1 year of FSD as compensation.

We know that only CT owners received this offer. It was published by Sawyer Merritt and many others. FS owners didn't because we have FSD included.
I think the question comes down to how that email is interpreted.
I do not interpret that email to constitute direct compensation or of equal value for the issue of tesla failing to provide autosteer to people who purchased CT with “base autopilot”, as autosteer would have been a lifetime feature of the vehicle, as it is for any other person who purchased any tesla at any point up to and as of the time that email was sent.
1 year trial does not equate to a lifetime of access to a feature.

I don't care how you interpret the e-mail.

My original statement was that Tesla already announced that the CT would not get AP.

They gave 1-year of FSD as compensation.

You may not feel it's enough, that's fine. I think that's a logical reaction, but that was Tesla's intent. They have completely discontinued AP in all new vehicles.

I think you would have a case if you sued, but you would likely either get FSD or maybe win a chance to return the vehicle and get re-imbursed, I don't think Tesla will ever deliver AP to the CT.

I guess it doesnt matter if you care about or agree with my interpretation of the email. Im not the only one who interprets it this way. I was just explaining my thought process and logic.

I can not speak to any potential legal action someone may take for this situation as i am not a lawyer, but as i said in a different post:

Tesla messed up BIG TIME by selling people CT’s with “base autopilot” and discontinuing autopilot before it was ever delivered to those people and subsequently changing those people’s vehicle specs from saying “base autopilot” to “TACC” as that is not what they bought.
