Auto Frunk Opening Misbehaves

[furbyland]

So far the use of the auto frunk open feature has been less than stellar. Sometimes it ignores any attempt to stand in front to cause it to open. Sometimes it beeps, but if you even move 1mm it stops and doesn’t open. Sometimes when you stand in front of it varies on how close you need to be. From practically rubbing to standing back over a foot or more. My Model S doesn’t have this quirk. Is this something any of you have seen? The camera is clean…

Mine works flawlessly.
