Anybody from NJ here? If so, please let me know about the most cost effective home charging way to do it. I currently installed a Tesla V3 home charger and I believe they are charging at $0.17 per Kwh but I’m not 100% sure.
Does PSE&G offer specific discounts and how to get them? I’ve heard that there are specific times when electricity is cheaper, but I’ve logged into their website trying to figure it out and I don’t seem to be able to find that information. I’d greatly appreciate it if anyone can help on this subject. Thanks.

I’m from NJ, but JCPL… they offered discounts, but Tesla charger is not supported because Tesla will not share statistics with them. Additionally, the discount isn’t all that great. I believe during off be you would get a two cent discount.

https://nj.myaccount.pseg.com/myservicepublic/electricvehicles-residential-program#:~:text=Off-peak periods are defined,credit is approximately $0.105/kWh.

You have to sign up for it. You need to submit a few things to PSEG and you'll get a reduced rate from 9pm to 7am M-F and all day Sat and Sun.
