when the sun is high and you are driving into it the white dash trim is fine, except it reflects on the window and side mirror.
Making it very difficult to see the rear view mirror.

By rear view mirror, do you mean the actual mirror or the rear camera on the display? If it's the display, you can try getting a matte non-reflective screen protector.

The white reflects on the driver side window and impairs the view of the outside rear view mirror. What would be nice is a piece of plastic formed to cover the white dash trim.

Quick update on a 'fix' that solved the issue for me. I had the top white part of the dash wrapped to match the styling of the black window sill along the doors.
