If these are anything like the Model Y floormats, people are really going to like them.

My wife had a tub of yogurt spring a leak in the back of our Model Y last week - straight onto the floor mats. She told me she thought it was going to be a real pain to get it out of the carpeted mats until...she realized the carpeted mats snap right out.

She pulled the long rear mat, cleaned in our utility sink, let it dry indoors and snapped it back into place. She was very complimentary about the mats - something she never notices or has commented on in a few decades. You've done good @3Wliners Carmats, real good.

You do you. I like carpeted floor mats. They trap dust and dirt and are more comfortable on the feet during long drives.

Sure, you can go with rubber or TPE mats only, easier to wash out but that's about it. Might as well wrap your couch cushions in those clear 1970's zipper bags ;-)

We have been using these combo mats in a Model Y (so not as much mud and grime on that one so far), but it is nice to have something that collects and controls the moisture and dirt, with a waterproof "trough" underneath.
I have used Weathertech style in every truck for the last decade and I like this as a compromise between the nicer factory mats and the plain rubber trough. The trough mat style always looks dirty to me, even if you vacuum them often (especially in black).

I liked this style enough to want them in a second vehicle.

On a side note, my wife has refused to let me put just the mats in her truck. She would do carpet only if it was up to her but this is our compromise we are both happy with.

If you're buying a Cybertruck today, it's not a Foundation Series so you're looking at no mats.

@carsly thank you. I didn't realize non FS does not come with any mats. Somehow in my mind, since the FS came with both carpet and rubber mats, the standard version would come with carpet but of course Tesla will remove anything that'll save them money. ?

Also, this style has the "weathertech" style trays that capture the grime, and then the carpets snap in on top of that tray.

I don't have the carpeted version, but I have 3W's all-weather version. In short, better coverage. Biggest gripe I have with the factory floor mats is the gap between the brake pedal and dead pedal; bunch of crap builds up in that area.

Not only does 3W's mats cover than area, the perimeter follows the floor pan well around the gas pedal, center console, seat, and A/B pill trim panels.

If you're buying a Cybertruck today, it's not a Foundation Series so you're looking at no mats.

My NF CT came with these floor mats. Yours didn't?
