Hello. Got the cybertent and almost all our other gear ready to go. Anyone tackle a 14er with their CT yet? Was thinking Antero or Princeton, but open to ideas. Not gonna lie, I'm not experienced at off-roading so something easier would be preferable. Maybe there's other people going up and we could make a weekend of it? Just looking for some suggestions or ideas. Thanks.

Take a look at crestone and crestone needle. There is some light off roading to get to trailhead (~3 miles) and great places to camp near the trailhead. The summit is no joke so make sure you are experienced climbing 14ners

The goal was to try and drive up as close to the summit as we could get. I believe both Antero and Princeton get you within a couple hundred feet. There was one, I can't remember which, that has a mine near the top and there was nice clear area near it where you could camp above the tree line. I thought it was one of those.

It could be helpful to completely read the off road section of the CT user manual. I plan to do this myself before I hit the off-road trails. Like you I have little to no experience and our trucks have incredible features I'm not familiar with.
