I’ve been looking at door welcome / projector lights recently.
Most of them are designed for Model vehicles, but one idea stood out:

πŸ‘‰ Dynamic projection instead of static logos

Not just a fixed image β€”
but animated / flowing / sci-fi style light effects when the door opens.

Given how futuristic Cybertruck already is,
a subtle dynamic light on the ground at night might actually fit the vibe pretty well.

Curious about your honest thoughts πŸ‘‡

  • πŸ”Ή Would you be open to welcome/projector lights on a Cybertruck?
  • πŸ”Ή Would dynamic effects make it more interesting to you?
  • πŸ”Ή Which style would you prefer?
    • Minimal & futuristic
    • Tesla / Cybertruck-inspired
    • Very subtle, almost invisible
  • πŸ”Ή Do you see this as:
πŸ‘‰ purely aesthetic or slightly practical for night entry?

This is just a concept discussion, not a sales post.
Genuinely curious how Cybertruck owners feel about this idea.

Feel free to share opinions β€” positive or negative πŸ‘
Sometimes β€œno” feedback is more valuable than β€œyes”.

I suppose it depends on what the 2 images are and how you animate them. I've seen some of these look good, and others not so good. Do you have examples of what you are thinking about using for animation images? Will there be an option for the buyer to customize the 2 images. For example, I have a static image of Master Chief as my puddle light which I love, I suppose if it animated to a 2nd image of the Halo logo, or something else Halo appropriate that would be even cooler. :) The problem is that my image has more than 1 color and that might be hard to have multiple images with different colors in terms of what the hardware cost might become. Food for thought.

Want to customize the design?

Yes if it were me I would want the ability to customize the design as opposed to having to choose from the standard Tesla T logo or the word Tesla or the graffiti script that says Cybertruck, or the Cybertruck triangle outline, etc. etc. I would want the ability to have a custom design created. That is what I did with my current puddle lights from www.custompuddlelights.com and they look great. Others might be happy with an animated "T" logo but I would not.

This requires research and development. I will provide feedback, and if there are any updates, I will let you know as soon as possible.

Looks cool. Would be nice if there was a video on the listing.

The video is on YouTube, but it features the Model series; there are only static images of the Cybertruck model, no dynamic footage yet.
