  1. No loaner car for Cybertruck recall service

Normal for GM and Acura. Even multi-day issues under warranty I did not get a loaner from a big GM dealer. But they did give me a ride home.
  2. 18,700 miles. Dual motor. Rear motor disabled and needs tires.

Beast or AWD (most Rear motor issues seem to be beasts, which is why i am asking). Generally Stock tires at 20K is about as much as you can hope for give or take.
  3. Cybertruck Door Failure

From making right turn, the left door could swing open. or vice versa. Not saying what actually happened, just explaining how you could have a door swing open while driving.
  4. Wiggling wiper when CT stopped

It wants to dance, but you need to play the right music.
  5. Has any Non-influencer got Park Assist Update yet?

I got it, won't trust it. It should be good help when finished though. Forward warning is like 2 feet off (which is awful for parking and totally useless). Rear and side seem better but have not gotten to the point of testing in detail.
  6. Find me an easier vehicle to clean than Cybertruck

I watched a couple videos after someone's advice on this forum. But I found dawn dish soap was best at cleaning the off gassing. Does a great job cleaning front of the window too.
  7. Reputable wrap company in NJ?

South Jersey? North? There have been a lot of recommendations for North Jersey already - so search the forums. I got mine done at TG Autowraps in Berlin NJ off Route 73. He did a great job with it.
  8. Digital Rear View Mirror Installed - WOLFBOX 12" Rear View Mirror Camera ... cheap and it works

? Don't do that because of me. I think what you did and shared was incredibly helpful and I am sure others have used your information with success. I think my case was just that the pass through area was about a millimeter too tight. That's not your fault at all.
  9. Losing 10% charge a day (Sentry Mode on)

Same thoughts. I also have calculated approximately 1% loss every 2.5 hours (roughly 10% / day). which is 12KWH a day. Even an extremely high end PC running full tilt uses less than 750W per hour (with a dozen fans, CPU's GPU's, and dozens of peripherals attached). A high power laptop uses...
  10. Portable generator for wilderness camping?

I don't recall exactly that video, but to go from 0 to 30% with that generator would need like a full 24 hours. Not that the truck should drain to zero while you are out 10 days.... But if it did, would you want to sit and wait a full day for it to charge, just to get out? Also keep in mind...
  11. Longer term vinyl wraps - how is it holding up

Thanks for showing this. I am going to ask this shop if they will do a colored ppf. I only see vinyl wraps on their website for the most part, but that does not necessarily mean they don't do PPF too.
  12. Longer term vinyl wraps - how is it holding up

Nope not yet, but that was going to be a question - ceramic coating. What would be reasonable for a shop to charge to do just that part?
  13. Portable generator for wilderness camping?

As far as the last comment... I would think it would be as easy to steal a gas generator as it would be to steal a solar generator. However for emergencies / real reliability - gas would be a better option. To get an idea of what that would be like, watch this video. Obviously you can go...
  14. Longer term vinyl wraps - how is it holding up

Anyone have a wrap for a few months? How is it holding up? You happy you did it? I washed my CT this weekend, and the more I washed it the worse it looked LOL. So I am now looking to get it wrapped for certain. Probably Satin black. I am keeping my CT outside. Anyone have any thoughts from...
  15. New Jersey Wrap Services

I too am looking to get wrapped soon. Anyone know of any shops that will do in southern NJ. Cherry Hill, Mount Laurel, Washington Township, Williamstown and surrounding areas?
  16. PSA: Dog Mode unsecure!! Door opened by dogs

Sorry about the incident. But the thought of my dumb dog opening the door and getting out makes me laugh. I can only imagine how proud he would be of himself.
  17. Digital Rear View Mirror Installed - WOLFBOX 12" Rear View Mirror Camera ... cheap and it works

So I tried and tried today to get from the back into the cabin. I just could not get the head of the wire to fit. I tried both ways from inside to out (skinnier attachment to the wire) and from outside to in . I just could not get through ... it was very close and I forced it the first time...
  18. Dash Mounted Tablet Solution

The airbag is in the steering wheel right? - cause if its in the dash like on the passenger side, that would be bad.
