any idea how much Tesla would charge to replace all 4 pieces of the fairing?Ok .. I found the online store:
https://epc.tesla.com/en-US/catalogs/b685e77a-0f90-4a81-a1a5-3f3417542754
But it took me some time to find the fairing .. as it is under "Body", even though it isn't highlighted .. just an FYI, go to Body, then Bumper and Front Bumper Fascia, in case you can't find it like I couldn't.
I also need a side mirror cap replacement, which is only $35, which isn't too bad! And will try to get a wiper blade at the same time
This is amazing! I am so happy now I can replace my broken bits![]()
I think it's $70 per, so around 280.any idea how much Tesla would charge to replace all 4 pieces of the fairing?
I’ve been through a lot of them myself… these are THE BEST I have found. High quality rubber, flexible and had not broken or lost one yet…They fairings are mud 'flaps'. If you remove them you will have no mud flaps. My guess at least. By the way, I have broken 3 or 4 of these things and it was always normal driving. I wish there was a real mud flap (meaning it actually flaps).
I’ve replaced mine with Tesla… super cheap, check with the service department… I paid like 10-15 bucks a piece for them.any idea how much Tesla would charge to replace all 4 pieces of the fairing?
it's easy enough to DIY i suppose.I think it's $70 per, so around 280.
It seems to me the kind of thing we could make a 3d print and superior design. Something with similar shape to help on aerodynamics, but to have a "sacrificial" piece so it snaps off easy cleanly and can just snap in a replacement piece without all the bolt on/off toil/expense.
Did you do them yourself or did they do it for you for $15?I’ve replaced mine with Tesla… super cheap, check with the service department… I paid like 10-15 bucks a piece for them.
